Tokai Guitars have landed at Music King! We have HUGE stocks of many of the most popular Tokai models. In addition to this, we can do 'special orders' on any Tokai Guitars you may be finding difficult to track down.
On the Music King website, you will see mainly Chinese made models (under £400), but we do have a number of Japanese made guitars arriving all of the time. If you want a great Value alternative to Epiphone or Gibson, well here is the answer...... Here is a little background on the brand Tokai - in our own words, not the same words on every other boring web site in the world: 1982 was when it all started for Tokai - closely followed by all of the lawsuits! All of the BIG boys i.e Fender and mainly Gibson, filed Tokai for making very close replicas to the originals. But the main reason for these law suits (rumor has it) was that Tokai guitars were in fact better than the originals! To date, we think this is still the case in many circumstances. The build quality, material and sound from Tokai is simply superb. Tokai has some-what of a cult following and are purchased by Guitarists who want to stand out from the crowd and have a talking point, as opposed to the same guitar as their mate around the corner. Here is a bit of information (we were told by a very informed source take this how you will) BUT Tokai Japan actually make many of the Japanese fenders we see around today. So if Tokai are good enough for Fender - are they good enough for you ? Page 1 of 41 2 3 4 Next » ... Last »
