THE MUSIC KING'S VIEW
At The Music King we believe strongly in value for money and at £185 the Stagg FAB Drum Kit is an absolute bargain! There is everything a person would need to either start playing drums or even have a new drum kit!
One of the main things that surprised us at The Music King was not the just the quality of the drums themselves but the quality of the hardware!
The sleek looking double braced hardware holds up to as much punishment as you want to throw at it. This even is the case with the bass drum pedal, where as you find in the majority of start drum kits does not cut the mustard. The bass pedal is as sturdy as the rest of the hardware and has a brilliant respone allowing the player to apply great technique aswell as playng fast.
Another misconception of entry level drum kits is that you cannot get them to sound good or be in tune - but the
Stagg FAB drum kit we found very easy to get to sound good. All we did is tune the toms until they didnt have any slack, the snare fairly tight and popped a pillow into the bass drum. A customer in the shop at the time thought a Pearl drum kit was being played!
Overall, the kit is excellent value for money and we recommend it to anyone interested in starting drums and has our seal of approval!
