Order status
If an item is out of stock and you add it to your basket, it will show as a Pre-Order. This status means that we will ship your item as soon as it comes in to our warehouse. For most products, the turn around time is usually around 1 week. For DIY Guitar Kits, this time scale may be longer as many kits get back ordered as our allocation is always limited.
If an Item states In Stock this means your product should be delivered next day (This does depend upon seasonal back log etc. As we are all only human, this is not guaranteed but should be used as a guideline only. Our online tracking systems allows you to track your parcel. This will enable you to determine the day it is being delivered)
If an item states Delivered in 5 - 7 Days > please note this is an approximate lead time and may be longer. This means the item is either a) on its way to us or b) generally in stock with our supplier so avalible to us within just a couple of days.
If an item states Out Of Stock this means the item is totally out of stock and we do not have an accurate timescale of when stocks will be replenished.
If an item states Coming Soon this means the item may have been a) not yet released by the manufacturer or b) We know the delivery date of this item coming to our warehouse.
If your order includes items that are in stock and items that are out of stock, we will ship the items we have in stock immediately and ship the rest of your order FREE OF CHARGE as soon as it becomes available. This means is that you will only pay for shipping once.

Please note: Delivery to some of the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, other English Isles and Northern Ireland are NOT classed as UK mainland. You may be contacted after you place your order for additional delivery charges. This charge is usually £15 extra. This additional charge is also applicable if an item states FREE SHIPPING ! Free Shipping is calculated only for mainland UK customers.
We shall contact you via telephone or email to make an additional payment if required. Please do not be offended if we do ask for an additonal charge. This is an extra charge made via our carrier. We do not make any profit on additional shipping charges.
Each package is insured by us, so if our carrier does damage an item you are covered.

Returns Policy
Before returning any item please email us at sales@themusicking.co.uk including in your email:
- Invoice Reference number;
- Your name;
- Your address;
- The product to be returned; and,
- the reason for the return.
We will reply with a goods returns note. Returns will only be accepted with a valid goods returns note.
Please wrap the item in its original packaging and shipping box (we cannot be responsible for any products damaged in transit to us if the goods are not packed in accordance to the way in which they were sent). Please affix the original or copy of your invoice and the goods returns note to the outside of the packaging.
PLEASE NOTE: Under no circumstances are we able to acept any returns on Microphones or Wind related instruments. This is due to Health and Safety policies.
Faulty items
In the event of your item(s) developing a fault, we will arrange for our carrier to collect the item at our cost if the fault develops within 14 days of purchase. We will then offer a full refund or exchange. If your item(s) develop a fault after these 14 days we will arrange for our carrier to collect / ask you to send the item back for an exchange / repair. If goods are deemed to have physical damage, we reserve the right to send this back to the UK Distributor and ask for a detailed fault report.
Unwanted Items
If you have simply changed your mind about a product simply return it to us within 7 days. We always recommend that you use a carrier service where goods need a Proof of Delivery signature. If you'd prefer we can collect the item from a designated address of your choice. Any delivery charges will be deducted from the refund.
