| I am a drummer who has moved to a Semi Detached and therefore cannot exert myself on my usual drum kit. I bought this kit with slight misgivings as to the quality of the response, but I had no worries. The drums respond in real time and are tough and durable. A bargain buy! |

| Excellent sound quality. Sensitivity on each pad can be changed very easily. Headphones supplied are not good...would recommend getting a better pair if not to be disappointed!...Use with an amp for fantastic experience |

Ordered online, no problems. Order tracking via website is very good. Parceline (courier) not great, delivery was to be next and Music King did dispatch the item in plenty of time, unfortunately Parceline took an extra day to deliver it, apparently next day to them is 2 days!
Kit arrived in good order and the drum stool was inside the box. Supplied headphones are very cheap though, not really suitable for the kit as the cable is too short and they remind me of budget walkman headphones from the 80's.
Overall though very happy with the quality of the drum kit, stool is a nice addition and Music King processed the order well. Would use them again.
All i need to do now is learn to play them.

| i was going mad finding cheap drums that were good but these were amazing it was comfortable playing the and they make such a good sound. they rock. They make me sound like a music king |

I bought this electronic drum kit for my 11 year old son for christmas. He is only a beginner drummer and we were not sure whether he would take to the drums. Luckily he really loves playing and with the headphones he can practice the drums leaving us in peace.

First a thank you to Music King for what was the most reliable internet purchase I have made in years. The kit was packed well and there were no issues with the delivery.
On to the drums. I managed to set the whole kit up in about 40 minutes, the frame and all the parts feel very sturdy and despite other reviews on the internet about over tightening the frame (and breaking it) I was able to exert quite some force on the screws without breaking anything. The assembly instructions were very clear, my 13 year old cousin was able to understand them and I have every confidence he would have been able to assemble it on his own. Having built the frame and put the pads on, connecting up all the pads was made unbelievably easy by colour coded and labelled cables.
The drum module itself is pretty simple to understand "click" is naturally a metronome, "kit" and "voice" your kit and voice selections. However the simplicity of the module belies the variety of options that are available to you when you spend some time getting to know the kit.
Sound wise the kit is very good, it has a range of voices from pretty standard acoustic sounds to some weird and wonderful ones. Having played on an acoustic until complaints led me to this purchase I can also say that although it's not the same sound, it's a very good imitation and will not disappoint. The drums also feel very good, I was worried having been used to the feel of acoustic drums, as to how the electric set would feel and in my opinion there is very little difference.
To sum it up this is an excellent kit, especially for the price, it's only flaw is that the snare pad could have been a little larger, but this in no way detracts from the overall quality of the kit. The only way it could be made any better would be to have it ship with a double bass pedal! |

| The main selling point of electric kits is you can plug in headphones and hook it up to an amp. You can drum along and not disturb your neighbours or family. The Session Pro DD505 is ideal for people who can't afford to spend thousands of pounds for a professional electronic kit. I would highly recommend this kit to beginner drummers as it has everything you need to start playing. |
