THE MUSIC KING'S VIEW
As electronic drum kits go, the Arbiter XTD 102 excells in its price bracket. From the brain, pads and the frame itself it is a sturdy, reliable and fun kit to work with.
Starting with the pads;
The drum pads, unlike many other electronic drum pads the XTD 102's have a plastic sheen to them which helps the user apply good technique with a swift and satisfying rebound.
The cymbal pads are also very good offering a good weight ratio to make them play like regular cymbals as an acoustic kit would.
The brain;
The Arbiter XTD 102 brain has alot ot offer the user in the price bracket (as you can see above). A few things that we found useful was the opportunity to play to a metronome allowing a learner or profeshional drummer practise consistently. Also the ability to play along to pre set songs with OR without the existing drum track is a function you would only usually find on other kits in the top end of the spectrum.
Overall the Arbiter XTD 102 is excellent value for money and would reccomend it to anyone either starting drums or already a competant player. On a sturdy frame the XTD 102 is a lifetime purchase and has the King's seal of approval!
